Act Humane successfully conducted a Disability Certificate Camp on October at the Civil Hospital, emphasizing inclusivity and support for persons with disabilities. The event garnered widespread interest, with 144 individuals registered. Out of these, 81 participants attended, making it a productive and impactful day.
The camp facilitated the issuance of 32 pensions with certificates, while 2 participants received their disability certificates directly. Additionally, 33 attendees were recommended for further testing, ensuring accurate assessments. 11 individuals were found to have no qualifying disabilities, and 3 certificates were renewed seamlessly.
The camp highlighted Act Humane’s dedication to empowering communities by simplifying the process of obtaining disability certification. By bringing essential services closer to those in need, the event reinforced Act Humane’s commitment to fostering accessibility and equity.
