Act Humne Celebrating Gurupurb with female inmates at Women Jail, Ludhiana 14 Nov 2024
On 14th November 2024, Act Humne extended the spirit of Gurpurab to a unique setting — the Women Jail in Ludhiana. This heartfelt initiative brought light, joy, and hope to the lives of female inmates, celebrating the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The event featured soulful kirtan, interactive sessions highlighting the Guru’s messages of equality, selflessness, and redemption, and heartfelt moments of connection.
Inmates participated in the celebrations with enthusiasm, sharing their thoughts and reflections in a nurturing environment. The occasion also included langar seva, reinforcing the principles of service and togetherness.
This event was a profound reminder that compassion transcends barriers, reaffirming the belief that every individual deserves dignity, kindness, and opportunities for spiritual growth. Through this initiative, Act Humne aimed to inspire hope and positivity, spreading the true essence of Gurpurab among those who need it most.
