On 21st January 2026, Act Humane conducted a Disability Certificate Camp at Civil Hospital Ludhiana, aimed at empowering individuals with disabilities by facilitating access to essential documentation and support. The event drew 63 interested participants, reflecting the community’s need for accessible disability services.

Throughout the day, 34 participants attended in person, where compassionate volunteers and medical professionals worked tirelessly to provide guidance, support, and streamlined processing. Our team identified 5 individuals eligible for pension benefits, helping them take an important step toward financial security. Additionally, 28 attendees received recommendations for further medical tests, ensuring that their disability assessments are accurate and comprehensive.

Importantly, 1 disability certificate was successfully issued on the spot, bringing immediate relief and recognition to someone in need. The camp underscored our commitment to inclusive support, and every interaction helped bridge gaps in awareness and access.
