Cancer Awareness Camp at ITBP Camp, Aware 250 beneficiaries.
Act Humane organised a Cancer Awareness Seminar on 23rd February 2026 at the ITBP Camp, Ludhiana, in association with World Cancer Care. The programme was specially conducted for personnel of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police, focusing on the importance of cancer prevention, early detection, and timely medical intervention. The session aimed to spread accurate medical awareness and encourage proactive health monitoring among the armed and paramilitary community.
The seminar witnessed the participation of 250 beneficiaries, including ITBP jawans, officers, and their family members. Medical experts addressed key topics such as cancer symptoms, lifestyle risk factors, screening importance, and available treatment options. Through this initiative, Act Humane reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding the health and well-being of those who serve the nation, recognizing that a healthy force is fundamental to national strength and security.
