Aftificial Limbs Fitment and Distribution Camp Jainsinghpur, Palampur, Himachal Pradesh
Act Humane successfully organised a Limbs Fitment and Distribution Camp at Jaisinghpur, Palampur, Himachal Pradesh, with the aim of empowering persons with disabilities and enhancing their mobility and independence. During the camp, 12 customised artificial limbs were provided to beneficiaries, while 74 individuals received wheelchairs, hearing aids, and other essential accessibility and assistive devices. All beneficiaries were pre-registered through a prior measurement and assessment camp to ensure accurate fitting and need-based support, reflecting Act Humane’s commitment to dignified and inclusive care.
The camp was honoured by the presence of Hon’ble Cabinet Minister Mr. Yadwinder Goma, who personally visited the camp and appreciated Act Humane’s continuous social service, especially its focused efforts towards the welfare of the disabled community. Ms. Harleen Kaur, Founder of Act Humane, warmly welcomed the Hon’ble Minister and shared insights into the organisation’s vision, ongoing initiatives, and impact-driven work.
