Solan Police Also Raised Awareness Among Youth
ACT HUMANE Foundation, in collaboration with Bahra University and the Institution’s Innovation Council, organized a cybercrime awareness program titled “CYBER SMART – Navigating the Digital World Safely” at Bahra University, Waknaghat, on April 2, 2025. The event aimed to educate youth about digital fraud, scams, and online security.
Head Constable Vikram Singh from Kandaghat Police Station informed students about increasing cyber fraud cases, digital arrests, and financial scams. Expert speaker Tarun Malhotra, cybersecurity consultant and auditor, explained how scammers exploit links and messages for fraud. The event was organized under the #INMYCITI initiative by NGO ACT HUMANE, led by Harleen Kaur.
