Disability Certificate Camp 17 September 2025 in Ludhiana
On 17th September 2025, a Disability Certificate Camp was successfully organized to support individuals in need of medical evaluation and certification. The camp aimed to ensure that persons with disabilities could easily access government-recognized certification, which is essential for availing pensions, schemes, and welfare benefits.
A total of 88 individuals showed interest in attending the camp. Out of these, 49 participants were present and underwent medical examinations conducted by a panel of healthcare professionals. The process involved thorough assessment, verification of medical history, and detailed evaluation to ensure transparency and fairness.
From the attendees, 15 applicants were recommended for pension benefits, ensuring their access to much-needed financial support. Meanwhile, 7 individuals were identified as having no disability after examination and were counseled accordingly. Additionally, 25 participants were advised for further tests to confirm or better understand their medical conditions before final certification.
Importantly, 2 participants successfully received their disability certificates during the camp itself. These certificates will empower them to apply for various government schemes and programs designed for the welfare of differently-abled citizens.
The camp not only provided medical assessments but also created awareness about the importance of disability certification, the benefits linked to it, and the need for early medical intervention. Volunteers and organizers ensured smooth coordination, guiding applicants at every stage of the process.
