A Disability Certificate Camp was held on 23rd July 2025 at Civil Hospital, Ludhiana, with the aim of helping individuals receive official recognition for their disabilities and access government support schemes. A total of 50 people showed interest in the camp, and 44 were present on the day.
After thorough medical assessments, 1 person was issued a disability certificate, enabling them to avail of necessary benefits. Additionally, 15 individuals were found eligible for pensions and were guided on how to proceed with the application process. However, 5 attendees were found to have no disability, and 23 individuals were recommended for further medical tests to confirm their eligibility.
The camp played a crucial role in spreading awareness about disability rights, ensuring proper documentation, and connecting people with the support they deserve. It marked another step forward in promoting inclusion, dignity, and equal opportunity for all.
