Free Artificial Limbs Distribution and Fitment Camp

Act Humane successfully organised a Free Artificial Limb Fitment Camp at the MLA Office, Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh, in the gracious presence of Shri Sudhir Sharma Ji, MLA, and Ms. Harleen Kaur, Founder of Act Humane. The camp was dedicated to restoring mobility and independence for persons with limb loss by providing 15 high-quality, lightweight customised prosthetic limbs designed with advanced technology to support natural human movement and enhance everyday comfort.

As part of Act Humane’s ongoing monthly prosthetic limb initiative, beneficiaries are identified through a pre-registration process and receive personalised assessments to ensure each artificial limb is custom-fitted to their individual needs. Our mission is to help persons with disabilities lead more confident, independent, and dignified lives through access to quality assistive technology at no cost.

During the camp, Shri Sudhir Sharma Ji interacted with the beneficiaries, encouraged them on their journey towards greater independence, and appreciated Act Humane’s continuous efforts to improve the lives of persons with disabilities. We sincerely thank him for extending his support and for making the MLA Office premises available for this noble initiative. Act Humane remains committed to organising such free camps regularly and reaching more individuals in need across the country.
