Free Disability Camp in Ludhiana – 10th December 2025
On 10 December 2025, Act Humane organised a disability support and assessment camp that witnessed a strong and positive community response. A total of 42 people showed interest in the camp, and 31 participants attended in person. Each visitor received personalised attention, careful screening, and clear guidance from our team. During the assessments, 11 individuals were identified for pension support, and they were assisted with the necessary paperwork and next steps. Another four participants were evaluated and found to have no disability, ensuring full transparency and accurate reporting.
Meanwhile, 15 attendees were recommended for further medical tests to help complete their eligibility process. The highlight of the day was the issuance of one disability certificate on the spot, offering immediate support and relief to the beneficiary.
The camp created a supportive environment where individuals could seek clarity about disability documentation, available schemes, and future steps. Through patient interaction and compassionate service, Act Humane ensured that every participant felt heard and guided. This event reflects Act Humane’s commitment to bringing inclusive services, empowerment, and essential welfare support closer to communities. It stands as a reminder of our mission to promote dignity, accessibility, and social wellbeing for all.
