Free Disability Camp in Ludhiana – 7th January 2026
Act Humane organised a Disability Certificate Camp at Civil Hospital, Ludhiana, on 7 January 2026, as part of its ongoing efforts to support persons with disabilities through awareness, guidance, and access to essential government benefits. The primary objective of the camp was to counsel individuals and their families about disability certificates and UDID cards, which are crucial for availing pensions, healthcare support, education benefits, and other welfare schemes. Many individuals remain unaware of these entitlements, and the camp served as an important platform to bridge this information gap.
During the camp, Act Humane’s team personally guided and counselled participants based on medical assessments conducted at the hospital. Individuals were advised on pension eligibility, further medical evaluations where required, and certification outcomes, with clear and transparent communication at every step. Through such initiatives, Act Humane continues to work towards dignity, inclusion, and equal opportunities for persons with disabilities, ensuring that access to rights and benefits begins with awareness and support.
