Lakshya Career Counselling at Talwara’s Government School

Act Humane Foundation organized the Lakshya Career Counselling Program in association with the Government of Punjab and Lovely Professional University to support students in making informed career decisions. The initiative aims to provide structured career guidance, educational awareness, and mentorship opportunities for students studying in government schools, helping them better understand academic streams, vocational courses, and higher education pathways.

As part of this initiative, a two-day Lakshya workshop was conducted on 29th and 30th April 2026 at Meritorious Government School Talwara located in Talwara, district Hoshiarpur. The interactive sessions were designed for students from classes 9th to 12th, focusing on helping them understand career possibilities, educational pathways, and the skills required to succeed in today’s evolving professional landscape.

The program included career counselling sessions, psychometric assessments, and personalized one-on-one guidance, enabling students to identify their strengths, interests, and potential career directions. Through expert sessions and engaging activities, the Lakshya Education Program seeks to empower young minds with the knowledge and confidence needed to plan their future effectively.
