5-Day Government Teachers’ Counselling & Education Program

Act Humane, in collaboration with the Punjab Government, proudly organized SARTHI, a Five days intensive counselling and training workshop for government school teachers. This impactful event was held in Ludhiana and aimed to strengthen the educational ecosystem by equipping teachers with the skills, awareness, and exposure required to guide students toward better academic and career outcomes.
The workshop was graced by Mr. Himanshu Jain (Ludhiana Deputy Commissioner) and Mr. Sanjeev Arora (Punjab Cabinet Minister), who addressed the participants and highlighted the critical importance of such initiatives in shaping the future of education.
Workshop Highlights:
Day 1 – Inauguration & Student-Centric Discussions
The event commenced with a formal inauguration ceremony, followed by insightful lectures and panel discussions focused on understanding student challenges, emotional well-being, and modern-day classroom dilemmas. Experts shared actionable strategies to tackle these problems effectively.
Day 2 – Psychology, Career Counselling & Holistic Education
Day 2 focused on child psychology, mental wellness, identifying career opportunities, and introducing creative teaching methodologies. Emphasis was laid on problem-solving skills, empathy-based teaching, and the evolving role of educators.
Day 3 – Exposure Visits
To bridge the gap between theory and practice, teachers were taken on visits to various colleges, technical institutes, and industrial units. These field visits offered valuable insights into real-world career opportunities and skill development paths available to students.
Day 4 – Technical Sessions & Expert Talks
This day featured technical lectures by leading educationists focused on innovative learning techniques, use of technology in classrooms, and effective student engagement and mentoring.
Day 5 – Assignment Submission & Closing Ceremony
The workshop concluded with teachers submitting project reports and assignments based on their learnings. A closing ceremony marked the successful wrap-up of the workshop, celebrating the dedication and active participation of all attendees.
