At Act Humane, we believe that every child deserves the right guidance to dream big and achieve their goals. With the Lakshya Education Program, launched in association with the Punjab Government, we are committed to empowering students in government schools through career counselling, psychometric testing, aptitude mapping, and one-on-one mentoring sessions.
Started in Punjab, Growing Nationwide
The program began in Punjab and has been making a lasting difference in the lives of thousands of children. With each event, we are expanding our reach to more government schools, ensuring that children from all backgrounds gain access to meaningful educational and career guidance.
What We Do in Lakshya:
- Career Counselling Workshops: Helping students of classes 9th to 12th understand streams, vocational courses, and career options.
- Psychometric & Aptitude Testing: Assessing individual strengths to guide them towards the right path.
- Interactive Guidance Sessions: Creating opportunities for children to engage with experts and explore future possibilities.
We believe that teachers play a crucial role in shaping young lives. Alongside Lakshya for students, we run SARTHI – Education & Counselling Workshops for teachers in government schools.
Through SARTHI we do:
- Train teachers in modern counselling and mentoring practices.
- Provide tools to guide students more effectively in academics and careers.
- Empower teachers to create a nurturing learning environment.
