Organised SARTHI – 5 Days Workshop for Teachers

Act Humane, in collaboration with the Punjab Government, successfully organised Sarthi – a 5-day teachers’ education workshop dedicated to empowering government school teachers with advanced teaching methods, modern tools, and innovative approaches. The workshop brought together 400 government teachers from different regions, offering them a unique opportunity to enhance their professional skills and gain insights into the latest educational practices.

The primary objective of Sarthi was to strengthen the capacity of government teachers so they can better guide students in today’s fast-evolving world. The sessions focused on advanced teaching techniques, child psychology, and effective problem-solving strategies. By equipping teachers with these skills, the workshop aimed to ensure that government school students receive education that is both practical and future-ready.

Throughout the five days, the participants engaged in a blend of technical sessions, interactive discussions, and outdoor exposure visits. Teachers were introduced to cutting-edge technologies that are shaping industries and job opportunities for the youth. The factory visits and live demonstrations allowed them to understand how theoretical knowledge connects with real-world applications. These experiences not only enriched their learning but also prepared them to inspire students towards diverse career opportunities.

Prominent dignitaries, including the Punjab Education Minister and the Deputy Commissioner of Ludhiana, graced the event with their presence. Their participation highlighted the importance of such initiatives in driving educational reforms and underscored the government’s commitment to improving the quality of learning in public schools.

Act Humane believes that teachers are the pillars of education, and empowering them means empowering thousands of students. Through Sarthi, we reaffirmed our commitment to creating an education ecosystem that is inclusive, innovative, and future-oriented. Teachers not only learned new methodologies but also shared their own experiences, making the workshop a two-way exchange of knowledge and ideas.

The overwhelming participation and positive feedback from teachers proved that Sarthi was not just a training program but a movement towards transformative education. By investing in teacher development, we are paving the way for a stronger, more skilled, and confident young generation that can compete globally.

At Act Humane, we will continue to collaborate with government bodies and stakeholders to build platforms that inspire educators and empower students, ensuring a brighter tomorrow for Punjab and beyond.
