Act Humane Develops and Renovates Two Inclusive Parks in Shimla

Act Humane has successfully completed and inaugurated two disabled and senior citizen-friendly parks in Shimla, reaffirming its commitment to creating inclusive public spaces for all. The newly developed City Park at Ward No. 28 was developed by Act Humane and inaugurated by Shri Surinder Chauhan, Hon’ble Mayor of Shimla. Designed with accessibility and comfort in mind, the park provides a welcoming environment where persons with disabilities, senior citizens, children, and local residents can enjoy recreation in a safe and barrier-free setting.

In another significant initiative, Rani Jhansi Park was renovated by Act Humane in collaboration with the Municipal Corporation of Shimla, transforming it into a more accessible and community-friendly public space. These projects reflect Act Humane’s vision of building cities that are inclusive, accessible, and welcoming for everyone. The organisation remains committed to working with government bodies and local communities to develop infrastructure that promotes dignity, accessibility, and equal opportunities for all citizens.
